First Timothy
« Chapter 2 »
1
To begin with, I urge that supplications, dua' prayers, pleadings and thanksgiving be done for all people.
2
Pray for kings and people in high places, so that we can live a life of calmness and tranquility in all reverence and dignity.
3
Allah our victor looks favorably toward and accepts this behavior.
4
He wants all sons of Adam to be saved and to know the truth.
6
He sacrificed himself as a ransom for everyone. The shahada about him was given at the right time.
7
I was appointed as an announcer, a messenger, and a teacher of the polytheistic nations about the true faith. I tell the truth. I do not lie.
8
So I want men to raise their tahir hands in dua' prayer, wherever they are, without anger or doubt.
9
I also want the women to wear appropriate clothing, with modesty and composure, not with braided hair, gold, pearls or expensive clothing.
10
Rather, they should have righteous deeds that are appropriate for women who declare reverence.
11
The believing woman should receive teaching in silence and perfect submission.
12
I do not permit women to teach or to have authority over men. They should be adorned with silence.
15
But she will be saved by having children, if she continues in trust, love, and is tahir and composed.
