« Chapter 4 »

The saying of Ruh Allah is true: some people will turn back from faith in the last days. They will follow misleading spirits and the teaching of jinn.
صَدَقَ قَوْلُ رُوحِ اللهِ إِنَّ الْبَعْضَ سَيَرْتَدُّونَ عَنِ الْإِيمَانِ فِي الْأَيَّامِ الْأَخِيرَةِ، وَيَتْبَعُونَ أَرْوَاحًا مُضَلِّلَةً وَتَعَالِيمَ الشَّيَاطِينِ

This will be through the tongue of hypocritical liars who have cauterized consciences.
عَلَى لِسَانِ كَذَّابِينَ مُنَافِقِينَ ذَوِي ضَمَائِرٍ مَكْوِيَّةٍ،

They forbid marriage and eating some foods that Allah created to be eaten with thanksgiving by believers who know the truth.
يُحَرِّمُونَ الزَّوَاجَ وَتَنَاوُلَ بَعْضِ الْأَطْعِمَةِ الَّتِي خَلَقَهَا اللهُ لِيَأْكُلَهَا بِشُكْرٍ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ يَعْرِفُونَ الْحَقَّ.

Everything that Allah created is good, and there is no need to reject any food if it is eaten with praise and thanks.
فَكُلُّ مَا خَلَقَ اللهُ صَالِحٌ، وَلَا دَاعِيَ لِرَفْضِ أَيِّ طَعَامٍ إِنْ تَمَّ أَكْلُهُ بِالْحَمْدِ وَالشُّكْرِ،

The word of Allah and dua' prayer make it tahir and holy.
إِذْ إِنَّ كَلِمَةَ اللهِ وَالدُّعَاءَ يُطَهِّرَانِهِ فَيُصْبِحَ مُقَدَّسًا.

If you remind the brothers of these things, you will be a righteous servant of Al-Masih Isa. You will be nourished with the words of trust and the righteous teaching which you have followed.
وَأَنْتَ إِذَا ذَكَّرْتَ الْإِخْوَةَ بِهَذِهِ الْأُمُورِ، فَسَتَكُونُ خَادِمًا صَالِحًا لِلْمَسِيحِ عِيسَى، مُتَغَذِّيًا بِكَلِمَاتِ التَّوَكُّلِ وَالتَّعْلِيمِ الصَّالِحِ الَّذِي اتَّبَعْتَهُ.

But avoid the superstitions of old women. Train yourself in reverence.
أَمَّا خُرَافَاتُ الْعَجَائِزِ الدَّنِسَةُ، فَاجْتَنِبْهَا، بَلْ دَرِّبْ نَفْسَكَ عَلَى التَّقْوَى،

Training the body has a little value. But reverence has great value. It has a promise in this life and the hereafter.
إِذْ لِتَدْرِيبِ الْجِسْمِ قِيمَةٌ قَلِيلَةٌ، أَمَّا التَّقْوَى فَلَهَا قِيمَةٌ وَسِيعَةٌ، لِأَنَّ لَهَا وَعْدًا بِالْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ.

This saying is true and worthy of complete acceptance.
وَإِنَّ هَذَا الْقَوْلَ لَصَادِقٌ وَجَدِيرٌ بِالتَّقَبُّلِ الْكَامِلِ.

This is why we work hard and struggle, because our sure hope is in Allah, the living, the rescuer of all Bani Adam, especially the believers.
لِذَلِكَ نَتْعَبُ وَنَجْتَهِدُ، لِأَنَّ أَمَلَنَا يَقِينٌ بِاللهِ الْحَيِّ، مُنْقِذِ بَنِي آدَمَ أَجْمَعِينَ وَخَاصَّةً الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.

Command and teach them these things.
مُرْهُمْ بِهَذِهِ الْأُمُورِ وَعَلِّمْهُمْ.

Do not let anyone despise your young age. Instead, be a mentor for the believers in your words, behavior, love, trust, and your being tahir.
لَا تَدَعْ أَحَدًا يَسْتَخِفُّ بِصِغَرِ سِنِّكَ، بَلْ كُنْ قُدْوَةً لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِكَلَامِكَ وَتَصَرُّفَاتِكَ وَمَحَبَّتِكَ وَتَوَكُّلِكَ وَطَهَارَتِكَ.

Until I come, continue with the jama'a to recite the word of Allah, and to encourage and teach them.
وَإِلَى أَنْ آتِيَكَ، وَاظِبْ مَعَ الْجَمَاعَةِ عَلَى تِلَاوَةِ كَلِمَةِ اللهِ وَالتَّشْجِيعِ وَالتَّعْلِيمِ،

Do not neglect your gift that you received by prophecy when the sheikhs of the jama'a put their hands on you.
وَلَا تُهْمِلْ هِبَتَكَ الَّتِي تَلَقَّيْتَهَا بِالتَّنَبُّؤِ عِنْدَمَا وَضَعَ شُيُوخُ الْجَمَاعَةِ أَيْدِيَهُمْ عَلَيْكَ.

Be diligent in these matters. Give yourself completely to them, so that everyone can see your progress.
اِجْتَهِدْ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمُورِ وَهَبْ نَفْسَكَ لَهَا كُلِّيَّةً حَتَّى يَرَى الْجَمِيعُ تَقَدُّمَكَ.

Watch out for your behavior and your teaching. Continue in it. That will rescue yourself and your hearers, too.
اِنْتَبِهْ إِلَى سُلُوكِكَ وَإِلَى تَعْلِيمِكَ وَثَابِرْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ، فَهَكَذَا تُنْقِذُ نَفْسَكَ وَسَامِعِيكَ أَيْضًا.
