Second Thessalonians
« Chapter 3
1
Finally, brethren, pray to Allah in dua' for us, so that the word of our mawla would spread quickly and be accepted in its splendor, just like you accepted it.
وَفِي الْخِتَامِ أَيُّهَا الْإِخْوَةُ، اُدْعُوا اللهَ مِنْ أَجْلِنَا حَتَّى تَنْتَشِرَ كَلِمَةُ مَوْلَانَا بِسُرْعَةٍ وَتُقْبَلَ بِبَهَائِهَا كَمَا قَبِلْتُمُوهَا أَنْتُمْ،

Also pray that we will be saved from bad, evil people, because not everyone is a believer.
وَنَنْجُوَ مِنَ الطَّالِحِينَ الْأَشْرَارِ، إِذْ لَيْسَ الْجَمِيعُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ،

We are confident in our mawla that you are behaving as we commanded you, and you will continue to do so.
وَنَحْنُ وَاثِقُونَ بِمَوْلَانَا أَنَّكُمْ تَسْلُكُونَ، وَسَتَسْتَمِرُّونَ فِي السُّلُوكِ كَمَا أَمَرْنَاكُمْ.

May our mawla guide your hearts to the love of Allah and the patience of Al-Masih.
لِيُرْشِدْ مَوْلَانَا قُلُوبَكُمْ إِلَى مَحَبَّةِ اللهِ وَصَبْرِ الْمَسِيحِ.

Brothers, we command you in the name of our mawla Isa Al-Masih: stay far away from every idle brother who does not behave according to the teaching that you received from us.
أَيُّهَا الْإِخْوَةُ، نَأْمُرُكُمْ بِاسْمِ مَوْلَانَا عِيسَى الْمَسِيحِ أَنْ تَبْتَعِدُوا عَنْ كُلِّ أَخٍ مُتَقَاعِسٍ لَا يَسْلُكُ حَسَبَ التَّعْلِيمِ الَّذِي اسْتَلَمْتُمُوهُ مِنَّا،

You know how you must be mentored by us. We were not idle among you.
فَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ عَلَيْكُمُ الِاقْتِدَاءُ بِنَا، إِذْ لَمْ نَكُنْ مُتَقَاعِسِينَ بَيْنَكُمْ،

We did not eat bread from anyone without paying for it. We struggled and worked hard night and day so that we would not put a burden on any of you.
وَلَمْ نَأْكُلْ خُبْزَ أَحَدٍ دُونَ أَنْ نَدْفَعَ ثَمَنَهُ، بَلِ اجْتَهَدْنَا وَتَعِبْنَا فِي الْعَمَلِ لَيْلَ نَهَارَ حَتَّى لَا نُثَقِّلَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ.

We had the right to demand this of you as your obligation to us. But we gave you an example so you could be mentored by us.
كَانَ لَدَيْنَا الْحَقُّ فِي مُطَالِبَتِكُمْ بِوَاجِبٍ نَحْوَنَا، لَكِنْ أَعْطَيْنَاكُمْ مَثَلًا حَتَّى تَقْتَدُوا بِنَا،

When we were with you, we commanded you: "Whoever does not want to work must not eat."
إِذْ أَمَرْنَاكُمْ مَا دُمْنَا مَعَكُمْ: «مَنْ لَا يُرِيدُ الْعَمَلَ لَا يَأْكُلْ.»

We hear that some of you are behaving like idle people and not working. Rather, they are interfering in the business of other people.
نَسْمَعُ أَنَّ بَعْضَكُمْ يَسْلُكُونَ سُلُوكَ التَّقَاعُسِ وَلَا يَعْمَلُونَ، بَلْ يَتَدَخَّلُونَ فِي شُؤُونِ غَيْرِهِمْ،

We command and urge those people in the name of our mawla Isa Al-Masih to work calmly to support themselves.
فَهَؤُلَاءِ نَأْمُرُهُمْ وَنُنَاشِدُهُمْ بِاسْمِ مَوْلَانَا عِيسَى الْمَسِيحِ أَنْ يَعْمَلُوا بِهُدُوءٍ لِيَكْسِبُوا رِزْقَهُمْ.

As for you, brothers, do not despair about doing good.
أَمَّا أَنْتُمْ، أَيُّهَا الْإِخْوَةُ، فَلَا تَيْأَسُوا مِنْ عَمَلِ الْخَيْرِ.

If anyone disobeys the teaching of this letter of ours, observe him and isolate him, so that he will be embarrassed.
إِنْ عَصَى أَحَدٌ تَعْلِيمَ رِسَالَتِنَا هَذِهِ، فَرَاقِبُوهُ وَاعْتَزِلُوهُ لِكَيْ يَخْجَلَ،

Do not consider him an enemy. Warn him as a brother.
وَلَا تَعْتَبِرُوهُ عَدُوًّا، بَلْ أَنْذَرُوهُ كَأَخٍ.

May the Rabb of peace give you peace continually at all times in every way. May our mawla be with you all.
لِيَهَبْكُمْ رَبُّ السَّلَامِ سَلَامًا دَائِمًا فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ وَفِي كُلِّ حَالٍ. وَلْيَكُنْ مَوْلَانَا مَعَكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ.

May the grace of our mawla Isa Al-Masih be with all of you.
فَضْلُ مَوْلَانَا عِيسَى الْمَسِيحِ مَعَكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ.
