The hawariyun and the brothers in Yahudia heard that people from other nations had received the word of Allah.
وَسَمِعَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ وَالْإِخْوَةُ فِي مُحَافَظَةِ الْقُدْسِ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْأُمَمِ قَدْ قَبِلُوا كَلِمَةَ اللهِ،

So the brothers of the family of the circumcised people criticized Peter as soon as he arrived to Al-Quds.
فَانْتَقَدَ الْإِخْوَةُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْخِتَانِ صَخْرًا فَوْرَ وُصُولِهِ إِلَى الْقُدْسِ

They said, "You visited people who are not circumcised, and you shared their unclean food with them."
قَائِلِينَ: «إِنَّكَ زُرْتَ قَوْمًا غَيْرَ مَخْتُونِينَ وَشَارَكْتَهُمْ نَجَاسَةَ طَعَامِهِمْ!»

So Peter told them everything that had happened in order. He said,
فَرَوَى لَهُمْ صَخْرٌ كُلَّ مَا حَدَثَ بِالتَّرْتِيبِ قَائِلًا:

"While I was doing salat in Joppa, I was in an unconscious vision. I saw something like a long, wide sheet being lowered from heaven by its four corners. It was lowered to me.
«بَيْنَمَا كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي فِي يَافَا، شَاهَدْتُ فِي غَيْبُوبَةٍ رُؤْيَا مَا يُشْبِهُ شَرْشَفًا طَوِيلًا عَرِيضًا يَتَدَلَّى مِنَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِأَطْرَافِهِ الْأَرْبَعَةِ، وَقَدْ نَزَلَ عَلَيَّ،

And I stared at it, and saw animals of the earth: wild beasts, reptiles, and birds.
فَحَدَّقْتُ فِيهِ وَرَأَيْتُ حَيَوَانَاتِ الْأَرْضِ وَوُحُوشًا وَزَوَاحِفَ وَطُيُورَ السَّمَاءِ،

I heard a voice commanding me: Peter, get up, slaughter, and eat!
وَسَمِعْتُ صَوْتًا يَأْمُرُنِي: قُمْ يَا صَخْرُ، اِذْبَحْ وَكُلْ!

I answered: 'No, my master. No haram, unclean has ever entered my mouth!'
فَأَجَبْتُ: حَاشَا لِي يَا سَيِّدِي، لَمْ يَدْخُلْ فَمِي شَيْءٌ حَرَامٌ نَجِسٌ أَبَدًا!

The heavenly voice told me again: Do not consider what Allah has made tahir as haraam!
فَقَالَ الصَّوْتُ السَّمَاوِيُّ ثَانِيَةً: مَا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ طَاهِرًا، لَا تَحْسَبْهُ أَنْتَ حَرَامًا!

This happened three times, and then everything was withdrawn to heaven.
حَدَثَ هَذَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ انْسَحَبَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ إِلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ.

At the same instant, three men arrived to the house I was staying in. They were a delegation from Caesarea.
وَفِي نَفْسِ اللَّحْظَةِ، وَصَلَ ثَلَاثَةُ رِجَالٍ إِلَى الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي نَزَلْنَا فِيهِ، وَهُمْ وَفْدٌ مِنْ قَيْصَرِيَّةَ،

Ruh Allah commanded me to accompany them without hesitation. These six brothers went with me. So we entered the house of the man.
فَأَمَرَنِي رُوحُ اللهِ أَنْ أُرَافِقَهُمْ دُونَ تَرَدُّدٍ، وَذَهَبَ بِمَعِيَّتِي هَؤُلَاءِ الْإِخْوَةُ السِّتَّةُ، وَدَخَلْنَا بَيْتَ الرَّجُلِ.

He told us how he had seen an angel standing in his house, who commanded him, 'Send people to Joppa and bring Simon, who is called Peter.
فَأَخْبَرَنَا كَيْفَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى مَلَاكًا وَاقِفًا فِي بَيْتِهِ يَأْمُرُهُ: أَرْسِلْ إِلَى يَافَا وَأَحْضِرْ سَمْعَانَ الْمُلَقَّبَ صَخْرًا

He will speak a message by which you and your family will be saved.'
الَّذِي سَيُخَاطِبُكَ رِسَالَةً بِهَا تَنْجُو أَنْتَ وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِكَ.

As soon as I began to speak to them, Allah sent down his Holy Ruh on them, just like he sent it down on us in the beginning.
وَمَا أَنْ بَدَأْتُ أُكَلِّمُهُمْ حَتَّى أَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِمْ رُوحَهُ الْقُدُّوسَ مِثْلَمَا نَزَلَ عَلَيْنَا فِي الْبَدْءِ،

And I remembered the words of our mawla Isa: Yahya immersed people into water as a ghusl of repentance. But you will be immersed into Holy Ruh Allah.
فَتَذَكَّرْتُ كَلَامَ مَوْلَانَا عِيسَى: بِالْمَاءِ غَطَّسَ يَحْيَى النَّاسَ غُسْلَ التَّوْبَةِ، أَمَّا أَنْتُمْ فَبِرُوحِ اللهِ الْقُدُّوسِ سَتَتَغَطَّسُونَ.

Allah sent down on them the same gift he sent down on us when we believed in our mawla Isa Al-Masih. So who am I to object to the path of Allah?"
فَإِنْ كَانَ اللهُ قَدْ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ نَفْسَ الْهِبَةِ الَّتِي أَنْزَلَهَا عَلَيْنَا عِنْدَمَا آمَنَّا بِمَوْلَانَا عِيسَى الْمَسِيحِ، فَمَنْ أَنَا حَتَّى أَعْتَرِضَ سَبِيلَ اللهِ؟»

فَكَفَّ الْمُنْتَقِدُونَ انْتِقَادَهُمْ وَسَبَّحُوا بِحَمْدِ اللهِ الْمَجِيدِ قَائِلِينَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ التَّوَّابَ قَدْ وَهَبَ حَتَّى غَيْرَ الْيَهُودِ التَّوْبَةَ الْمُؤَدِّيَةَ إِلَى الْحَيَاةِ!»

Meanwhile, the followers who were scattered because of the persecution that came from the martyrdom of Stephen had reached Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch. They spoke the message only to Yahud.
أَمَّا الْأَتْبَاعُ الْمُشَتَّتُونَ بِسَبَبِ الِاضْطِهَادِ النَّاجِمِ عَنِ اسْتِشْهَادِ اصْطَفَانَ فَقَدْ بَلَغُوا فِينِيقِيَةَ وَقُبْرُصَ وَأَنْطَاكِيَةَ، وَهُمْ لَا يُحَدِّثُونَ بِالرِّسَالَةِ إِلَّا الْيَهُودَ فَقَطْ.

لَكِنَّ بَعْضَ الْإِخْوَةِ مِنَ الْقَيْرَوَانِ وَقُبْرُصَ وَصَلُوا إِلَى أَنْطَاكِيَةَ وَبَدَأُوا يُكَلِّمُونَ الْإِغْرِيقَ أَيْضًا وَيُبَشِّرُونَهُمْ بِمَوْلَانَا عِيسَى،

The jama'a of chosen people in Al-Quds heard the news, so they sent Ibn Naba to Antioch.
وَسَمِعَتْ جَمَاعَةُ الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ فِي الْقُدْسِ الْخَبَرَ، فَأَرْسَلُوا ابْنَ نَابَا إِلَى أَنْطَاكِيَةَ،

When he arrived, he realized that the grace of Allah was on them. So he rejoiced, and he encouraged them to hold fast to our mawla with determination in their hearts.
فَوَصَلَ وَأَدْرَكَ فَضْلَ اللهِ عَلَيْهِمْ، فَفَرِحَ وَشَجَّعَهُمْ أَنْ يَتَمَسَّكُوا بِمَوْلَانَا ثَابِتِي الْعَزْمِ مِنْ صَمِيمِ قُلُوبِهِمْ،

Ibn Naba was a good man, full of Holy Ruh Allah, and strong in trust. As a result, a large crowd of people were guided to our mawla.
لِأَنَّ ابْنَ نَابَا كَانَ صَالِحًا مُفْعَمًا بِرُوحِ اللهِ الْقُدُّوسِ قَوِيَّ التَّوَكُّلِ، فَاهْتَدَى جَمْعٌ غَفِيرٌ إِلَى مَوْلَانَا.

He found him and brought him to Antioch. So they gathered with the jama'a of chosen people for a whole year, and they taught large crowds. The people from Antioch called the followers 'Christians' for the first time, mocking them.
فَوَجَدَهُ وَجَاءَ بِهِ إِلَى أَنْطَاكِيَةَ، فَاجْتَمَعَا مَعَ جَمَاعَةِ الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ خِلَالَ سَنَةٍ كَامِلَةٍ، وَعَلَّمَا جُمُوعًا كَثِيرَةً. وَأَطْلَقَ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّونَ اسْمَ «مَسِيحِيِّينَ» عَلَى الْأَتْبَاعِ لِأَوَّلِ مَرَّةٍ اسْتَهْزَاءً بِهِمْ.

فَقَامَ وَاحِدٌ مِنْهُمُ اسْمُهُ آغَابُ وَتَنَبَّأَ بِوَحْيٍ مِنْ رُوحِ اللهِ عَنْ مَجَاعَةٍ شَدِيدَةٍ سَتَضْرِبُ كُلَّ الْمَسْكُونَةِ. فَحَدَثَتْ حَقًّا فِي حُكْمِ الْقَيْصَرِ كُلُودِيُوسَ.

They did this, and sent it to the leaders of the believers with Ibn Naba and Saul.
فَفَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ، وَبَعَثُوهَا إِلَى شُيُوخِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِيَدِ ابْنِ نَابَا وَشَاوُلَ.
