Hebrews
« Chapter 13
1
Continue to love the brothers.
3
Remember the prisoners, and be like those who are partners in their chains. Also remember those who are unjustly treated, as if you are suffering the same torment.
7
Remember your leaders who gave good news to you of the word of Allah. Look at the fruit of their lives, and be mentored by their faith.
8
Al-Masih Isa is as he is, yesterday, today, and forever.
9
Do not let various, strange teachings lead you astray. Rather, it is better for your hearts to be strengthened by the grace of Allah, not by those foods that do not benefit the people who have gotten used to them.
11
The chief habr presents the blood of animals in the courtyard of the haram as expiation for sins, but the animal bodies are burned outside the tent.
12
Therefore, Isa also suffered outside the gate, so that he could purify the people and make them holy by his own blood.
13
So we must go out to him outside the tent, bearing shame with him.
14
We have no remaining city here. Rather, we seek for the coming city.
15
So, through Isa, let us always present offerings of praise to Allah. This is the fruit of our lips in praising his name.
16
Do not neglect almsgiving and sharing what you have with others. These are offerings that please Allah.
17
Obey your leaders and submit to them, since Allah has appointed them to care for your souls, and they will be held accountable for that. Let them be joyful in their watchfulness to care for you, and do not make it hard on them. That would not benefit you.
18
We truly seek the rida of Allah with a good conscience in everything, so pray dua' to Allah for us.
19
I urge you to pray dua' to Allah for me even more, so that Allah would facilitate my way to you quickly.
20
The Rabb of peace, who resurrected our mawla Isa, the great shepherd of the sheep, from death through the blood of the eternal covenant,
21
will make your effort perfect in every good deed, so that you will do his will. He will work in you what gives him rida through Al-Masih Isa. To him be splendor always, forever and ever. Amen.
22
Brothers, I urge you to bear this word of sermon, since I have written this message to you concisely.
23
Know that our brother Timothy has been released. I will have him accompany me to see you, if he comes to me quickly.
24
Greet all your leaders and all the holy believers. The brothers from Italy greet you.
25
May the grace of Allah be with you all.
