Hebrews

«   Chapter 2   »

1
So we must pay more attention to what we have heard, so that we do not go astray from the path.
2
The message of Musa, which Allah announced through angels was obligatory, and everyone who committed a disobedience or sin was punished with a just punishment.
3
So how can we be saved from punishment if we ignore this great ransom? Our mawla Isa announced it first, and then the eyewitnesses who had heard it confirmed its truth to us.
4
Allah aided their shahada with ayat, clear signs, and various miracles, and by gifts of holy Ruh Allah, which he distributed as he willed.
5
Allah did not subject the hereafter, about which we are speaking, to angels.
6
Allah revealed in the kitab: "Who is a person that you remember him? Who is Sayyid Al-Bashar that you miss him?
7
You have lowered him so that he became lower than the angels for a time, and then you crowned him with splendor and honor. You made him the governor of what your hands created.
8
You subjected everything under his feet." Since Allah has subjected everything to him, nothing remains outside of his sovereignty. But at the present time, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him.
9
We see Isa, whom Allah lowered to a level below the angels for a time, then crowned him with splendor and honor because of the pains of his death, so that by the grace of Allah, he would taste death for everyone.
10
Allah, the Khaliq of everything and Malik of everything, willed to guide many amirs to his splendor, so it was fitting that he would make Isa, the Amir of their salvation, perfect through pains.
11
Since Isa, who purifies people, and the people who are purified are all from Allah Al-Wahid, he is not embarrassed to call them his brothers.
12
He said what is written in the kitab: "I will announce your name to my brothers, and in the middle of the jama'a I will praise you by singing anthems,"
13
as he also said, "I have trusted in Allah," and also, "Here I am, and I have the iyal Allah has given me."
14
That iyal are partners in flesh and blood. So he also took human nature so that by his death, he could conquer Iblis, who has the power of death.
15
He would also free those who were slaves to fear of death throughout their lives.
16
He is truly concerned with helping the seed of Ibrahim, not with helping angels.
17
So it was necessary for him to become like his brothers in everything, so that he could be merciful, great, faithful intercessor before Allah and expiate the sins of the umma.
18
Since he suffered pains under his trials, he is able to help a person who is in trial.
