« Chapter 16 »
1
"I have told you all this so that you will not turn back.
2
The Yahudi leaders will cast you out from the houses of salat. The time is actually coming when people who kill you will imagine that they are doing jihad in the sirat of Allah.
3
They will do that because they do not know Al-Malik Al-Rahman and they do not know me.
4
I have warned you in advance. That is so you will remember what I have warned you of when it happens. I did not tell you this at the beginning of my message, because I was with you.
5
But now I will go to the One who sent me. But none of you asks me: Where are you going?
6
And sadness has filled your hearts because of my words.
7
But I tell you a true saying: My going away is better for you, because the helper will not come to you until after I go. Then when I go, I will send him to you.
8
When he comes, he will make the injustice of the people of this world clear, in the areas of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
12
I have a lot to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.
14
He will reveal the splendor of my glory, because he will tell you what he receives from me.
17
Some of the hawariyun asked each other, "What does he mean by his saying: 'After a little time, you will not see me, then after a little time more, you will see me'? And what does he mean by going to Al-Malik Al-Wadud?"
18
They continued, "What does his saying 'After a little time' mean? We do not know what he means by his sayings."
19
Isa realized that the hawariyun wanted to ask him, so he said to them, "Are you asking each other about the meaning of my saying, 'After a little time, you will not see me, then after a little time more, you will see me'?
22
In the same way now, you also will be sad. But then I will see you again, and your hearts will be happy with a joy that no one can take away.
23
On that day, you will no longer ask me anything. I tell you a true, true saying: Al-Malik Al-Rahman will answer every dua' you pray in my name.
25
I have told you stories. But the time will come when I will tell you about Al-Malik Al-Rahman. I will tell you clearly, not with stories.
27
Al-Malik Al-Wadud himself loves you because you love me. And you have believed that I was sent from Allah.
29
His hawariyun said, "Now your words are clear, with no stories.
30
Now we realize that you know everything. You do not need anyone to ask you. So we believe that you were sent by Allah."
31
Isa answered them, "Do you believe now?
33
I told you this so that you will have peace in me. In this world, you will suffer severe trials. But be encouraged and patient. I have overcome this world."
