Revelation
« Chapter 16 »
1
Then I heard a loud voice from the house of Allah telling the seven angels: "Go and pour the seven cups of the anger of Allah on the earth."
ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُ صَوْتًا عَالِيًا مِنْ بَيْتِ اللهِ يَقُولُ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ السَّبْعَةِ: «اِذْهَبُوا وَاسْكُبُوا كُؤُوسَ غَضَبِ اللهِ السَّبْعَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ.»

So the first angel went out and poured his cup on the earth. Then the people who had the mark of the wild beast and who had bowed down to his idol suffered dangerous, malignant sores.
فَخَرَجَ الْمَلَاكُ الْأَوَّلُ وَسَكَبَ كَأْسَهُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ، فَأُصِيبَ الَّذِينَ لَهُمْ عَلَامَةُ الْوَحْشِ السَّاجِدُونَ لِصَنَمِهِ بِقُرُوحٍ خَبِيثَةٍ خَطِيرَةٍ.

The second angel poured out his cup on the sea, it became like the blood of dead people, and all the creatures in the sea died.
وَسَكَبَ الْمَلَاكُ الثَّانِي كَأْسَهُ عَلَى الْبَحْرِ، فَأَصْبَحَ كَدَمِ الْأَمْوَاتِ، وَمَاتَتْ جَمِيعُ الْمَخْلُوقَاتِ فِي الْبَحْرِ.

The third angel poured out his cup on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.
وَسَكَبَ الْمَلَاكُ الثَّالِثُ كَأْسَهُ عَلَى الْأَنْهُرِ وَيَنَابِيعِ الْمِيَاهِ فَأَصْبَحَتْ دَمًا.

since they shed the blood of the holy people and the anbiya, and you now give them blood to drink as the reward they deserve."
إِذْ هُمْ سَفَكُوا دِمَاءَ الْمُقَدَّسِينَ وَالْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَأَنْتَ تَسْقِيهِمِ الْآنَ دَمًا جَزَاءً مُسْتَحِقًّا لَهُمْ.»

The fourth angel poured out his cup on the sun, and it was permitted to burn people with its fire.
وَسَكَبَ الْمَلَاكُ الرَّابِعُ كَأْسَهُ عَلَى الشَّمْسِ، فَسُمِحَ لَهَا إِحْرَاقُ النَّاسِ بِنَارِهَا.

وَإِذِ احْتَرَقَ النَّاسُ بِحَرِّهَا الشَّدِيدِ، كَفَرُوا بِاسْمِ اللهِ الْمُهَيْمِنِ عَلَى هَذِهِ الْبَلَايَا، وَلَمْ يَتُوبُوا وَلَمْ يُمَجِّدُوهُ.

The fifth angel poured out his cup on the throne of the wild beast, and this darkened his kingdom. People gnawed their tongues because of the severity of the pain.
وَسَكَبَ الْمَلَاكُ الْخَامِسُ كَأْسَهُ عَلَى عَرْشِ الْوَحْشِ، فَأَظْلَمَتْ مَمْلَكَتُهُ، وَقَضَمَ النَّاسُ أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ مِنْ شِدَّةِ الْأَلَمِ،

They profaned the Rabb of heaven because of their pain and sores, but they did not repent of their deeds.
وَكَفَرُوا بِرَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِسَبَبِ آلَامِهِمْ وَقُرُوحِهِمْ، لَكِنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا عَنْ أَعْمَالِهِمْ.

The sixth angel poured out his cup on the great river Euphrates, and its water dried up to become the way prepared for the kings of the East.
وَسَكَبَ الْمَلَاكُ السَّادِسُ كَأْسَهُ عَلَى نَهْرِ الْفُرَاتِ الْكَبِيرِ، فَجَفَّ مَاؤُهُ لِيَصِيرَ الطَّرِيقُ مُهَيَّأً لِمُلُوكِ الْمَشْرِقِ.

I saw three unclean spirits coming out of the mouth of the dragon, the wild beast and the deceiving prophet. They were like frogs.
وَرَأَيْتُ ثَلَاثَ أَرْوَاحٍ نَجِسَةٍ تَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِ التِّنِّينِ وَالْوَحْشِ وَالنَّبِيِّ الدَّجَّالِ كَأَنَّهَا ضَفَادِعُ،

They are spirits of devils that did ayat, and they go to the kings of the whole earth to gather them for war on the great day of Allah Al-Qader Al-Jabbar.
وَهِيَ أَرْوَاحُ شَيَاطِينَ تَأْتِي بِآيَاتٍ، وَتَمْضِي إِلَى مُلُوكِ كُلِّ الْمَسْكُونَةِ لِتَجْمَعَهُمْ لِلْحَرْبِ فِي الْيَوْمِ الْعَظِيمِ لِلهِ الْقَادِرِ الْجَبَّارِ.

I am coming like a thief comes. The person who stays awake and protects his robes, so that he would not walk naked and his shame be exposed, has a a baraka.
هَا أَنَا آتٍ كَمَجِيءِ اللِّصِّ، فَبُورِكَ الَّذِي يَسْهَرُ وَيَحْفَظُ ثِيَابَهُ حَتَّى لَا يَمْشِيَ عَارِيًا فَتَنْفَضِحُ عَوْرَتُهُ.

They gathered in a place that is named Armaggedon in Hebrew.
فَاجْتَمَعُوا فِي مَكَانٍ اسْمُهُ بِالْعِبْرِيَّةِ «هَرْمَجِدُّونُ».

The seventh angel poured out his cup on the air, and a voice came from the house of Allah, saying: "The matter has been accomplished!"
وَسَكَبَ الْمَلَاكُ السَّابِعُ كَأْسَهُ عَلَى الْهَوَاءِ، فَانْطَلَقَ صَوْتٌ عَالٍ مِنْ بَيْتِ اللهِ يَقُولُ: «قَدْ قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ!»

There were lightning, sounds, thunder, and the biggest earthquake since Allah created people on the earth.
وَحَدَثَتْ بُرُوقٌ وَأَصْوَاتٌ وَرُعُودٌ وَزِلْزَالٌ ضَخْمٌ لَيْسَ لِذَلِكَ الزِّلْزَالِ مَثِيلٌ فِي ضَخَامَتِهِ مُنْذُ خَلْقِ اللهِ لِلْبَشَرِ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ.

The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Allah remembered the great city of Babylon and punished it with the cup of the wine of his anger and wrath.
وَانْقَسَمَتِ الْمَدِينَةُ الْكَبِيرَةُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَقْسَامٍ، وَسَقَطَتْ مُدُنُ الْأُمَمِ، وَتَذَكَّرَ اللهُ مَدِينَةَ بَابِلَ الْكَبِيرَةَ فَجَازَاهَا بِكَأْسِ خَمْرِ غَضَبِهِ وَغَيْظِهِ،

All the islands fled, and the mountains ceased to be.
وَوَلَّتِ الْجُزُرُ كُلُّهَا الْأَدْبَارَ، وَتَلَاشَتِ الْجِبَالُ،

Huge hailstones fell from the sky on Bani Adam. Individual hailstones weighed as much as a load of a laborer. People cursed Allah because of the severity of the calamity of the hail.
وَسَقَطَ بَرَدٌ ضَخْمٌ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ عَلَى بَنِي آدَمَ، وَزْنُ الْحَبَّةِ مِنْهُ حِمْلٌ، لَكِنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا بِاللهِ بِسَبَبِ شِدَّةِ بَلِيَّةِ الْبَرَدِ.
