«   Chapter 15   »

1
We strong people must bear the lacks of the weak, and not seek to give rida to ourselves.
2
Rather, let every one of us give rida to his neighbor in order to flourish in goodness.
3
Al-Masih did not seek for his own rida, as it is written in the Zabur: "Allah, the cursing of those who curse you has fallen on me."
4
Everything written in the kitab in the old days is a lesson for us, so we can be patient, and be comforted about what was written in the kitab. Thus we can have sure hope.
5
I pray dua' to Allah, who is patient and comforting, that he would give you a oneness of mind among yourselves consistent with your belonging to Al-Masih Isa.
6
Then you will give praise from one heart and one tongue to Al-Malik Al-Wadud Al-Majeed, the Rabb of our mawla Isa Al-Masih.
7
Accept one another as Al-Masih has accepted you, to the splendor of Allah.
8
I tell you that Al-Masih became a servant to the family of the circumcision in the name of truth, so that the promises of Allah to our first fathers would be fulfilled.
9
Thus the non-Yahudi nations would give praise Allah Al-Majeed because of his mercy, in confirmation of what was written in the kitab: "Allah, for this reason I will testify to you among the nations, and praise your name with an anthem."
10
Also: "Rejoice with his people, you nations."
11
Also: "Praise Allah, all you nations, praise him, all you peoples."
12
As Allah revealed by the tongue of Isaiah: "The root of Jesse will appear, and he will rise to judge the nations. The nations will put their hope in him."
13
May the Rabb of sure hope fill you with perfect happiness and peace in your trust in him, so that you would overflow in hope by the power of holy Ruh Allah.
14
My brothers, I am sure that you are filled with righteousness, are perfect in knowledge, and are able to warn each other.
15
But I have addressed you with boldness in my letter about some points to remind you because of the grace of Allah given to me.
16
This was so that I would be a servant of Al-Masih Isa among the nations of the polytheists and a deputy in spreading the good news of Allah. Then the nations would become a qurban that is acceptable to Allah. They would be purified and made holy by holy Ruh Allah.
17
So I boast in Al-Masih Isa because of my service to Allah.
18
I will not dare to speak of anything except what Al-Masih has done through me, so that the non-Yahudi nations could come to obey him in word and deed,
19
by the power of ayat and miracles, and by Ruh Allah. I have given the good news of Al-Masih to everyone, starting from Al-Quds until Ilirica.
20
I was excited to give good news in the regions in which Al-Masih had not yet been heard. I did not want to build on a foundation that someone else had laid.
21
The matter is as was written in the kitab: "Those who had not received the news about him will see, and those who had not heard will understand."
22
So I faced many obstacles in coming to you.
23
There is no work remaining in these regions for me. I have wanted to visit you for many years.
24
So I hope to see you when I am on my way to Spain, so that you may help me on my journey after I enjoy seeing you a little while.
25
But I am traveling now to serve the holy believers in Al-Quds.
26
This is because the brothers in the provinces of Macedonia and Achaia saw fit to donate what was available to the holy, needy people in Al-Quds.
27
This was what they were pleased to do, since the believers from the families of the nations are in debt to their Yahudi brothers because of their sharing in spiritual goodness. So they were obliged to help them in material goods.
28
After I finish delivering the fruit of their donations, I will pass by you on my way to Spain.
29
I know that my visit to you will be in the fullness of the baraka of Al-Masih.
30
Brothers, I urge by our mawla Isa Al-Masih and by the love of Ruh Allah to struggle with me in dua' for me,
31
so that Allah would rescue me from the disobedient Yahud in the province of Al-Quds. Maybe the holy people in Al-Quds will accept my service there.
32
Then I can come to you with joy by the permission of Allah, and relax among you.
33
May the Rabb of peace be with you all. Amen.
