«   Chapter 8   »

1
There is no longer any condemnation against those who belong to Al-Masih Isa.
2
By your belonging to Al-Masih Isa, the principle of Ruh Allah Al-Muhyi has freed you from the principle of sin and death.
3
The sharia was unable to accomplish this because of the weakness of human nature. But Allah fulfilled it when he sent his Beloved Amir in a human body resembling the body of Bani Adam, who was a sinner, as an expiation for sins. Thus he condemned sins in human nature
4
so that the demands of the righteous sharia of the Tawrat would be fulfilled in us who walk according to Ruh Allah, not according to human nature.
5
Those who live according to their human nature think of human matters, but those who live according to Ruh Allah think about matters of Al-Ruh.
6
Thinking focused on human nature is death. But thinking focused on Al-Ruh is life and peace.
7
Thinking focused on human nature is enmity to Allah, since it does not submit to the sharia of Allah. It cannot.
8
People of human nature are unable to obtain the rida of Allah.
9
But you are not people of human nature. You are people of Ruh Allah, if Ruh Allah truly lives in you. Whoever does not have Al-Ruh from Al-Masih does not belong to him.
10
But if Al-Masih is in you, even though your bodies are dead because of sin, Ruh Allah is life to you because of righteousness.
11
If Al-Ruh, who resurrected Isa alive from among the dead, lives in you, then Allah who resurrected Al-Masih Isa alive from among the dead will give life also to your mortal bodies by his Ruh that lives in you.
12
So, brothers, we are not obligated to live according to human nature.
13
If you live according to human nature, you will die. But if you cause the works of the body to die by Ruh Allah, you will live.
14
People whom Ruh Allah leads are all amirs to Allah.
15
What you received is not a spirit of slavery, to make you afraid again, but a Ruh that brings you close to Allah, and makes you amirs to him. Through this Ruh, you pray dua' to him, saying, "Oh Al-Wadud! Oh Al-Malik Al-Rahman!"
16
Ruh Allah himself testifies to our spirits that we are the iyal Allah.
17
Because we are his amirs, we are also heirs, heirs of Allah. We have a portion with Al-Masih on the condition that we suffer for the sake of Al-Masih so we can share in his splendor.
18
I am sure that the suffering of the present time is not equal to nothing in comparison to the splendor that will appear to us.
19
Creation eagerly waits for the appearing of the amirs of Allah.
20
Allah has subjected creation to frustration in spite of itself, so it looks forward to
21
being freed from slavery to decay, and to the freedom of iyal Allah and his glory that is manifested in them.
22
We know that the whole creation still groans in labor.
23
Not only that, but we who have received the first fruit of Ruh Allah groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly to be called amirs of Allah with the renewal of our bodies.
24
In this sure hope of ours, Allah has blessed us with his saving mercy. But hope is not seen. It is awaited. Who waits for what he sees?
25
But if we hope in what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
26
Ruh Allah also helps us in our weakness. We do not know how to pray dua' to Allah, but Al-Ruh intercedes with Allah for us with indescribable groaning.
27
Allah who realizes the secrets of hearts knows the mind of his Ruh, because Al-Ruh intercedes with him for the holy believers according to his will.
28
We know that Allah makes all matters happen for good for those who love him. He called them to him according to his arrangement.
29
He predestined in eternity past that those he knew in his prior knowledge would take the nature of his beloved Amir, so that the Amir would be the oldest among many brothers.
30
Those he predestined he also called to himself. Those he called to himself he considered as righteous. Those he considered as righteous he also gave a portion in his splendor.
31
What can we say after all these things? If Allah is with us, who could be against us?
32
He is Al-Karim, who was not miserly with us regarding his beloved Amir. He surrendered him to death as a ransom for us. So how will he not bless us with everything with him?
33
Who will point the finger of accusation against those Allah has chosen? Allah is the one who considered them righteous!
34
Who will condemn them? Al-Masih Isa died, and Allah resurrected him alive from among the dead, and he raised him to himself at his right hand. He is the one who intercedes for us also!
35
What can separate us from the love of Al-Masih? Can hardship, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger or sword?
36
In the kitab of Allah it says: "For your sake we are subject to being murdered all day, and we are considered sheep for slaughter."
37
But in all these matters we are victorious with a surpassing victory by the power of the one who loved us.
38
I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor spiritual rulers, nor anything in the present or the future, nor spiritual powers,
39
nor anything in the heights or the depths, or any other created thing -- nothing is able to separate us from the love of Allah given to us in our mawla Al-Masih Isa.
