First John

  Chapter 1   »

1
We have heard him, and he is the word of life from eternity past. We saw him with our eyes. We witnessed him and touched him with our hands.
2
Life appeared to us, and we saw it. We testify to you and inform you of Al-Hayy Al-Sarmadi , who was with Al-Malik Al-Rahman and then appeared to us.
3
We inform you also of what we witnessed and heard so that you can share with you as we are partners with Al-Malik Al-Rahman and with his beloved Amir Isa Al-Masih.
4
We are writing to you about these matters so that our joy will be complete.
5
This is the message that we heard from him and inform you about: Allah is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.
6
If we say that we share with him and we walk in the darkness, we are liars, not doing the truth.
7
But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we share with each other, and the blood of Isa, his beloved Amir, purifies us from every sin.
8
If we say that there is no sin in us, we make ourselves go astray and the truth is not in us.
9
But if we confess our sins, Allah Al-Mumin Al-Barr Al-Adl will forgive us our sins and purify us from everything that is not righteous.
10
If we say that we have not committed any sin, we call Allah a liar, and his word is not in us.
