Second Corinthians
« Chapter 10 »
1
I, Paul, am humble among you and bold toward you from far away. For the sake of the meekness and kindness of Al-Masih, I urge you
2
and ask you while I am afar: do not force me to use my confident boldness to face those who imagine that we walk according to this world.
3
Though we live in this world, we do not struggle according to this world.
5
We destroy worthless arguments and every hindrance that is raised up against the knowledge of Allah. We capture every thought to the obedience of Al-Masih.
6
We are ready to punish every disobedience upon when your obedience is complete.
7
You have been looking at external things! If anyone is confident that he belongs to Al-Masih, let him take into account that we also belong to Al-Masih like he does.
8
I will not be embarrassed, even though I boast much about the authority that our mawla gave us for strengthening you, not destroying you.
9
This is so that I would not seem to be frightening you with my letters.
10
One person says, "His letters are heavy and strong, but personally, he is weak and his words are despicable."
11
Let that person consider that what we say in our letters while we are absent is what we do while we are present.
12
We are not bold enough to classify or compare ourselves with some who justify themselves, since they are without understanding when they measure or compare themselves with one another.
13
But in our boasting, we will not overstep the boundaries that Allah predestined for us, which include you.
14
This is not overstepping, as if we had not reached you. We were racing to bring you the good news of Al-Masih.
15
We are not overstepping our bounds by boasting of the work of others, but we hope that the extent of our presence among you would greatly expand as your trust increases.
16
Then we can give good news in regions more distant from you, outside the boundaries of others, so that we would not boast in what another person has prepared.
17
Whoever wants to boast, let him boast in Rabb Al-Alamin.
18
The person who justifies himself does not have the rida of Allah. Rather, it is the person whom his mawla justifies.
