First Corinthians

«   Chapter 2   »

1
Brothers, I came to you carrying the mystery of Allah, but not with eloquent words and wisdom.
2
I determined not to know anything among you except Isa Al-Masih and his crucifixion.
3
I was weak, fearful and quite trembling with you.
4
And I did not give you my message with convincing words of wisdom, but with demonstration of the power of Ruh Allah.
5
This way, your trust would not depend on human wisdom, but on the power of Allah.
6
Though we speak with wisdom with mature believers, it is not the wisdom of this world, nor the wisdom of its leaders who will disappear.
7
It is the inner, secret, wisdom of Allah that was predestined in eternity past to give us splendor through it.
8
None of the leaders of this world understood this matter. Otherwise, they would not have crucified our glorious mawla.
9
This is in confirmation of what is written in the kitab: "Allah prepared for those who love him things that no eye has seen and no ear has heard, and what the heart of a person has not thought of."
10
Allah has inspired us by his Ruh, because Al-Ruh comprehends every matter, even the essence of Allah.
11
Who is the one who know the essence of a person besides the spirit of the person in him? Thus only Ruh Allah knows the essence of Allah.
12
Allah has not sent down on us a spirit of this world, but a Ruh from him. This way, we can know the gifts of Allah.
13
We speak about these matters according to the teaching of Al-Ruh, not according to the teaching of human wisdom. So we can explain spiritual matters to the people of Al-Ruh.
14
A person of this world does not accept the matters of Ruh Allah. He considers them foolishness. He is unable to understand them, because they are matters that cannot be realized except by Al-Ruh.
15
But the person who is of Al-Ruh realizes how to judge everything, and he is not judged by anyone.
16
As it is written: "Who realizes the mind of Rabb Al-Alamin so he can teach him?" But we have the mind of Al-Masih.
