Hebrews
« Chapter 3 »
1
Therefore, holy brothers and partners in the heavenly call, mediate on Isa. He is Rasul Allah and our greatest intercessor in the shahada of our trust in him.
2
He was faithful to Allah in what he delegated to him to do. Musa was also faithful in all matters of the house of Allah.
3
But Isa is higher in splendor with Allah than Musa, just as the builder of the house is more honorable than the house.
4
Every house is built by someone, but Allah is the builder of everything.
5
Musa was a faithful slave in all of the house of Allah, and by that he testified to what would be spoken later.
7
So as holy Ruh Allah said in the Zabur: "If you hear his voice today,
8
do not harden your hearts like your first fathers did when they disobeyed me on the day of testing in the wilderness.
9
They tested me greatly, and the saw my ayat for forty years.
10
So I was angry with that generation and said: their hearts always go astray, and they have not known my path at all.
13
But encourage each other every day, as long as it is "today", so that sin would not deceive any of you, and you harden your heart.
14
We have a portion in Al-Masih if we keep holding firmly to our first confidence in him until the end.
16
Who were the people who heard and rebelled? Was it not all of Bani Israil whom Musa took out of Egypt?
17
With whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not the people who sinned and whom Allah caused to die in the wilderness?
18
To whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest? Is it not the disobedient?
19
So we see that they were unable to enter because of their unbelief.
