Revelation

  Chapter 1   »

1
The revelation of Isa Al-Masih, which Allah gave him to show his slaves what must happen soon. He informed his slave John of this through his angel which he sent to him.
2
John testified to everyone what he saw regarding the word of Allah and the shahada to Isa Al-Masih.
3
The person who reads the words of this prophecy has a baraka and those who hear and follow what is contained in it have a baraka, because the time has approached.
4
From John to the seven jama'as of chosen people in the province of Asia Minor: Grace and peace be upon you. This comes from the one who is, who was, and will come, from the seven Arwah who are before his throne,
5
and from Isa Al-Masih, the faithful witness, the first-born of those who have been resurrected from among the dead. He is also the ruler of the kings of the earth. He is the one who loved us and freed us from our sins by his blood.
6
He has made us a kingdom, worshippers and friends of Allah Al-Malik Al-Rahman, who loved us since eternity past. To him be splendor, glory, and kingship always, forever and ever. Amen.
7
"Look! He is coming with the clouds." Every human eye will see him, including those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will mourn for him. Yes. Amen.
8
Allah Al-Mawla says: "I am the Alif and the Ya', the beginning and the end, the one who is, who was, and will come. I am Al-Qadeer."
9
I, John, am your brother and your partner in suffering, in the kingdom, and in patience in our belonging to Isa. I was exiled to the island of Patmos because of the word of Allah and the shahada to Isa.
10
Ruh Allah came upon me on the day of our mawla. I heard a loud voice, like a trumpet, behind me.
11
It said: Write what you see in a letter and send it to the seven jama'as of chosen people, which are: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicia.
12
I turned to see who was speaking to me, and after turning I saw seven golden lampstands.
13
In the middle of the lampstands, there was a person resembling Sayyid Al-Bashar, wearing a long robe. Around his chest was a gold belt.
14
His head and hair were white, like white wool or the whiteness of snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire.
15
His feet were like bronze refined in the fire of an oven. His voice was like the roar of a large waterfall.
16
He was holding seven stars in his right hand. There was a sharp, two-edged sword coming out of his mouth. His face shone brightly, like the light of the sun.
17
When I saw him, I threw myself at his feet like a dead man. But he put his right hand on me and said: "Do not be afraid! I am the first and the last.
18
I am Al-Hayy. I died, and now I am alive forever and ever. The keys of death and the grave are in my hand.
19
So write what you have seen -- what is happening now, and what will happen later.
20
As for the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand and the seven gold lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven jama'as of chosen people, and the seven lampstands are the seven jama'as of chosen people.
